Shellback SEO’s mission is to accelerate businesses utilizing the world’s most advanced technology and the ethos of the sailor, so that they can reach their full potential and stay there.
About the Founder
Technology has been a huge part of my life since I was ten. From figuring out the dial up password to running customized StarCraft Maps on a computer that filled an entire desk; with only twelve inches of screen real estate.
That love of technology continued into the US NAVY, where I worked on HYDRA, AN/WSC-8, AN/WSC-6, OE-82, Global Broadcast Systems, e-ROVER, Cryptographic Green Gear, AN/WSC-3; the list goes on an on, so to speed things up, I dealt with SATCOM technologies and telecommunications equipment as my day to day. My favorite piece of gear was the pseudomorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor, which very much sounds like the flux capacitor, but isn’t imaginary. This taught me real skills that I use every single day without fail. How to lead, how to follow, and how to get the job done.
After the NAVY, I continued working with Veterinarians, Dentists and Physical Therapists correcting and perfecting their IT infrastructure as well as their software, then training them on how to use it in the most effective way. This taught me how to run a help desk, how to build rapport with customers, and showed me how to sell in a way that isn’t so much sales, as it is educating and moving the customer forward.
During this time, I started building websites. Starting small with a just a few local folks, I found something that both challenged me and helped me scratch that ever evolving technological itch. That’s where I really found what I loved to do. Not running around plugging in equipment. But developing new and innovative ways to market and manipulate some of the largest companies in the world. Digging down deep to change how things were done and making someone small stand out in a sea of businesses just like them.
Then I started working as a Field Tech with a company in Denver, to stop having to fly around so much, and give myself more time. I eventually became partner there, but the best thing that happened, is it led me to my wife who I couldn’t get through every day without.
Between my personal mission of growing revenue for businesses, and my day job of selling IT to companies the world over, I’ve generated tens of millions of dollars for all kinds of companies; individual financial advisors built to billions under management with me in the background keeping their reputation clean and dominating googles search results.
Finally, I’m opening that up to everyone. Shellback SEO is my brain child and as a Disabled Veteran, I hope to not only help everyone develop more revenue, but also other guys like me stop second guessing their worth and move forward. You can help too by donating to the Navy Seal Foundation.
